We had a fantastic day!
Your kiddo was able to check out a library book today. The book is in a plastic bag with their name on the front. After reading the book, please return the book back to the large plastic bag. The bag will be used all year for library checkout.
During calendar time, we started talking about the date, specifically how to write the short date. We'll be practicing this all year. :)
Important Information:
1. Please make sure your child has the appropriate transportation tag on their backpack. Let me know if you need a new one or if you have any questions about them.
2. If your child is having cold lunch and has any nut products in their lunch, please put a note on the outside of their lunch box so we can help direct them to the appropriate table. We know this is an extra step, but it is SO important to help keep all kids safe. Please also tell your child if they have nuts and if they're having cold or hot lunch.
3. McTeacher Night is September 18th at McDonalds at the Y. Kinder teachers will be working from 4-5pm. Please join us at this fun event!
4. APEX Fun Run - This is a once a year fundraiser that will take place on September 19th at around 9:30am. This is an incredible event that raises all our PTO funds for the entire year.
5. Picture Day is coming up! Please fill out and return the picture form as soon as possible!
6. We have 5th grade buddies this year and will do many amazing projects together. As we prepare for our first project, we are collecting toilet paper tubes. If you have any and can send them in over the next few weeks, we would greatly appreciate it!
