Wednesday News

We had an awesome Wednesday!

We began our morning with math morning work. We practiced drawing objects in a ten frame, addition equations, and representing numbers in different ways.

Then, we had our morning message, calendar, and daily news. Next, we had a great recess outside. After recess, we had reading groups. During groups, we worked on vocabulary, our sounds, sight words, and reading a decodable text, listened to a story, handwriting, and spelling.

After reading groups we had a math lesson on taking away by crossing out objects, creating a subtraction equation, and filling in our number bonds.

Our afternoon was filled lunch, recess, 4th grade buddies, snack and show and share, quiet time, recess, free choice centers, and a royal reader celebration.
