We had a fun Tuesday!
We began our morning with math morning work. We practiced drawing objects in a ten frame, addition equations, and representing numbers in different ways.
Then, we had our morning message, calendar, and daily news. Next, we had a great recess outside. After recess, we had reading groups. During groups, we worked on our sounds and sight words and reading our stories, handwriting, sight word practice, and listened to a story.
After reading groups we had a math lesson on taking away by crossing out objects, creating a subtraction equation, and filling in our number bonds. Next, we had a royal reader birthday celebration.

Our afternoon was filled lunch, recess, library, snack and show and share, quiet time, free choice centers and a review of some school expectations for recess line up, bus loop, and the cafeteria.
