We had a great day!
This morning we started right away with our last personal safety lesson (emailed to you as an attachment). The studnets did great and Ms. Cox (our new counselor) came in during this time as well. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding today's personal safety lesson. After the lesson we went outside for a chilly but fun recess.
After recess, we had reading groups. During groups, we listened for sounds and practiced our phonemic awareness, handwriting, sight word practice, and listened to a story.
When groups were over we began our math lesson. During math, we continued to work on number bonds as we began to fill our addition equation. Next, we did our opinion writing about animals (foxes or elephants).
Our afternoon was filled with lunch, recess, library, quiet time, snack, show and share, royal reader celebration, and free choice centers!
