Wednesday News

We had a wonderful day!

This morning we began with our morning work working on word families and sight words. Next, Ms. Cox came in for a lesson about emotions and feelings and the students did awesome! After this lesson we had morning message and calendar time and then went out for a nice outdoor recess.

After recess, we had reading groups. During groups, we listened for sounds and practiced our sight words, handwriting, worked on the letter "W", and listened to a story.

When groups were over we began our math lesson. During math, we continued to work on number bonds as we began to fill our addition equation. Next, we finished up our grandparent writing.

Our afternoon was filled with lunch, recess, review of personal safety songs, music, quiet time, snack, show and share, an extra recess from earning hawk awards, and free choice centers!
