We had a wonderful half day together!
We started our morning with a royal reader, followed by morning message, calendar, and Daily News.
We were able to go outside for recess. Thank you for sending your kiddos with coats, gloves, and hats.
After recess, we had our reading group rotations. The kiddos worked on letter ID, letter sounds, reading, letter Aa (our letter of the week), handwriting, and listening.
Immediately after reading groups, we lined up for lunch and recess.
After recess, the kiddos had quiet time and free choice centers before it was time to pack up for dismissal.
Important Information:
1. No school tomorrow (10/19) and Friday (10/20). Conferences will be held both days.
2. Communication folders will come home on Monday. Please continue to have your child read their take home book, practice their magic five, and play games together! Below are the letters and sight words that have been taught:

3. Please look at your schedule and see if you are available to chaperone our Dec. 14th Downtown Field Trip. We cannot go on the trip unless we have one parent for every two kiddos.
