WOW! We RAN and WORKED hard today!

After doing the pledge, attendance, and lunch count, we went straight outside for the APEX Fun Run! I was beyond impressed with your kiddos! The ran hard and were such kind friends out on the track! We ran from 9:30-10:30, so when we got inside, WE all were exhausted! We did a mini quiet time to rest (lights off and heads down - this was actually requested by the students). 😊 Once we felt rested and ready to go, we met at the carpet for our math lesson. As I've shared, students started math with sorting and we are now sorting to find hidden partners (eg. 1 and 2 are the hidden partners that make 3). After practicing together, students cleaned up and got ready for lunch and recess. Immediately after recess, we went to library with Mrs. Mulder. When library was over, we worked together to create our final class promise, mounted it, and taped our faces (we drew yesterday) around the outside. Finally, we ended the day with snack, quiet time (round two), recess, and free choice centers.
Important Information:
1. Communication Folders are due tomorrow (9/22). Feel free to put your child's picture money in their folder, as I will be collecting it all tomorrow.
2. Picture day is Monday, 9/25! Please let me know if you have any questions regarding pictures and/or ordering!
3. All school paperwork is due to the office tomorrow. Again, feel free to put in your child's communication folder and I will collect them.
