Friday News

What a great day!

We started our day with fourth grade buddies. During buddy time, we focused on Martin Luther King Jr.'s famous "I have a dream" speech. We discussed different dreams we have for our nation and/or world. Then, working with their buddy, the kinders wrote their dreams (including a pictures, also). If there was extra time, the kinders got to read with their buddies.

We then transitioned to library checkout. There were a few kinders who forgot to bring their books back (or said that they lost their books). If you have questions regarding checkout or missing books, please contact Mrs. Peters at rachel.peters@mead354.org

Once library was over, Mrs. Mulder came in to teach music and PE.

Our PM class was also able to participate in the Martin Luther King Jr. assembly today.

Important Information:

1. I collected homework folders today. There were quite a few missing. Please send your child's folder in on Tuesday and I'll be sure to get it stuffed and ready to go home. A new homework packet will be coming home on Tuesday (1-17).

2. No School Monday, January 16th. Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day!

3. Conferences are coming up (Feb. 15-17). Please note 2/15 is a half day for 1-5th grades; HOWEVER, our am and pm kinder schedule does not change. Also, 2/16 and 2/17 are NO SCHOOL DAYS.
