We had a great day!
We started our time together with play-doh, focusing on making as many sight words as we could. We then moved on to math, where the kinders worked on comparing the lengths of two objects. After the lesson and activity, each student completed their own "mini-assessment." Everyone did a wonderful job! Due to the extreme cold, we had in door recess. After recess, we did our reading group time. The students focused on initial sounds, the letter Cc, the sight word "have," and listening (The Three Snow Bears). We ended our day with a royal reader. :)
Important Information:
1. Take Home Books are due tomorrow (12-15).
2. Reading Groups are canceled next Wednesday (12-21).
3. Winter Break is from 12-22 to 1-2. School resumes on 1-3.
