We had a great day together!
The kinders got to check out books at library time. A few kiddos mentioned they can't find their books. If this is the case, please let me know and I'll forward your information/email on to our librarian so it can be taken care of. The students also had music and P.E. today. After specialists, the students worked very hard to finish their Christmas presents. We even wrapped them! :) All kinders have their gift in their backpacks. I reminded them to put the gift under the tree, but you may need to mention it as well. ;) Lastly, we worked very hard to read and write a holiday sentence. In addition, the kinders colored a picture to go with it.
Important Information:
1. Homework folders were collected today (12-16).
2. Take Home Books are due Monday (12-19).
3. Next week for homework, there will only be a math page and reading (no daily news or sentence writing).
4. Winter Break starts on 12-22 and goes until 1-2. School resumes on 1-3.
5. We have been working hard on our sight words during reading groups; however, the students need even more practice. Below is a list of the words we've introduced so far. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO PRACTICE READING AND WRITING THESE WORDS!
