The students had a wonderful "FUN-Friday!"
We all practiced writing the letter Pp and the sound Pp makes. Next, we worked on counting to find how many were in a group. The students worked independently to solve each problem. I was very impressed! We also did a quick calendar routine before the students went to P.E. and music.
Important Information:
1. Homework folders will come home on Monday (9/26).
2. Take Home Books are due on Monday (9/26).
If you think your child needs a new book or to move up/down a level, please send a note in their plastic book envelope. BOOKS WILL NOT BE EXCHANGED WITHOUT A NOTE!
The Take Home Books are part of my classroom library. Please do not let your child write or color on them. They should be treated like a library book.
3. Please check the volunteer calendar! All jobs "officially" start on Monday (9/26). Please let me know if you have any questions (or if I made a mistake)! :)
4. Please continue to help your child sell cookie dough. Remember, if your kiddo sells or receives donations, to fill out the white coupon and send it in. They will get a Secret Life of Pets key chain for every 1, 3, 6, 9, 12, and 15 tubs they sell/donations they receive.
5. In the upcoming months, there are a few "non-student" days (aka, teachers have meetings and the kiddos get the day off) to be aware of. The first is 10/14. Please see the district calendar for other "non-student" days and events.
