We had an awesome day!
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Important Information:
1. Library books were checked out today and are in backpacks.
2. Dec. 12th is our Downtown Kindergarten Field Trip. It will look a bit different this year, as we are not taking the STA buses. We will take school buses downtown instead. If you haven't yet, please let me know if you can join us and what you'd like to do for lunch (bring cold lunch or buy it downtown). Please note, due to space/safety concerns, we can't include siblings on this trip. Thank you for understanding!
3. Please send in a stamp for your child - we will be mailing Christmas cards home.
4. Please send permission slips back as soon as possible.
5. Every year our school does a special service project to help support the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery. Please read the attached letter for specific information. We will hold a special assembly the Friday before winter break begins to present the nursery with special blankets and our kinders will also be singing one song. If you do want to come to the assembly, please sit/stand in the multipurpose room in order to make room for all our students in the gym.
Please note that the nursery has an Amazon Wish List, too! Scroll down and it's located under "Give."
6. Winter Break is Dec. 21st - Jan. 5th.
