We had a wonderful day!
Our morning was filled with morning work, reading groups (focusing on letter names/sounds, abc books - Mm page, handwriting, and listening), recess, math (continuing with sorting), morning message, calendar, Daily News, and opinion writing.
During the afternoon we had library checkout, math centers, snack, show & share, afternoon recess, and free choice.
The on-line conference schedule is now open and will close this Thursday (Oct. 10). Elementary conferences are Oct. 16-18 (Half day on 10/16, No school on 10/17 & 10/18).
Important Information:
1. Now that we've been in a school for a few weeks, transportation tags are starting to fall off/not match what kiddos are doing at the end of the day. Will you please let me know if you need a new tag, if you'd like me to laminate one for you, or if you have any questions. I will have subs and want to be sure tags are on and correct.

3. The volunteer calendar is up on the blog! If you are viewing from a devise other than a computer, you may need to scroll down to the very bottom of the page and click "View Web Version" and then you'll be able to see it. To scroll through the calendar, just simple place your curser/finger over the calendar and scroll. The entire year is listed. :)
4. If your child is having cold lunch and has any nut products in their lunch, please put a note on the outside of their lunch box so we can help direct them to the appropriate table. We know this is an extra step, but it is SO important to help keep all kids safe. Please also tell your child if they have nuts and if they're having cold or hot lunch.
