We started our morning with our second shared reading for the week (Bear and Fox). After the mini lesson and reading, we went right into reading groups. During groups, students worked on letter ID, letter sounds, sight words, handwriting, and listening. We were able to go outside for a chilly, but fun recess. Please continue to send warm hats, coats, gloves for your kiddo. We will go outside everyday, even when it starts to snow. During morning message, we focused on our sight words, the /t/ sound, and blending. Our calendar time focused on counting, number ID, days of the week, and place value. We also published our Daily News for Wednesday. Ms. Cox was able to come in for a social skills lesson and our morning ended with a number ID math activity.
Our afternoon was filled with lunch, recess, art, snack, show and share, quiet time, and free choice.
Please read the information about our mini food drive we'll be doing! I've attached it to the email for today!
