We had a wonderful day together!
We started with our Happy Camper interview (Charlotte) and name book. After our Happy Camper time, we walked down to the gym for school pictures. We then worked hard on kindergarten assessments. I'm so proud of the kinders!
We were able to go outside for a warm recess in the sun! After recess, we did reading rotations.
Our afternoon was filled with lunch, recess, math, writing (opinion), snack, show and share, quiet time, and free choice.
Thank you SO much for helping your child memorize their bus number/how they are getting home. Please make sure that if you are picking up your child from school that you arrive on time (3:20 or earlier) each day. We always arrive outside a few minutes early, so you can beat the rush of older children for pick up. If you are going to be late, please call the office and your child can wait safely in the office for you.
Important Information:
1. Communication Folders were sent home today.
2. Please tell your child if they are having hot lunch or cold lunch each day. This will help when we do our lunch count. Also, please tell your child if they need to sit at the peanut table (meaning, you packed PB&J or they have items that contain or were processed with nuts). Kinders get very confused and it's difficult to look through every kiddos lunch before they sit down.
3. Please send in any important school papers, if you haven't already.
