Friday News

We had a fun Friday!

We began our morning with math morning work in which we practiced addition equations and counting on, addition with ten frames, and subtraction with objects and equations. After morning work we had a royal reader celebration!

Next, we had a fun recess outside! Afterwards, we came in and began reading groups. During groups, we practiced sight words and reading, handwriting practice, sight word practice with the word "where", and listened to a story.

After reading groups we practiced our spring concert songs together. Our class also earned a class party and voted to have a "movie" in which we will be watching on Monday. Students are welcome to bring a stuffy with them during this time.

Our afternoon was filled with lunch, recess, science, PE, music, and our May Day celebration outside! It was beautiful!
