Tuesday Blog Post

We had a wonderful day!
We started our day with a math activity (focusing on starting with the whole and finding a missing part). We then did calendar, message time, and Daily News. We had indoor recess and then continued our work with number bonds. The students worked independently to create two parts and then find the whole. We then transitioned to reading groups, where kiddos worked on sounding out, the /r/ sound, ABC books (letter Rr page), handwriting, and listening. We ended our day with a handwriting screen with our OT (Ms. Dawn) and a little spring concert practice.

Important Information:
1. Just a loving reminder that we have our RAZ Kids subscription. This is a fun way for kinders to practice reading at their level. Please let me know if you have any questions about the program.

2. Our two snow make up days will be March 17th and May 26th.

3. Grandparents Day is March 24th from 8-9am.

4. A letter (on green paper) was sent home this week. We will be making Leprechaun Traps. I'm asking that you help your child return their traps by 3/15. Please know that an empty cereal box will work, as will a fancy, gold trap (there is ABSOLUTELY no pressure with this)! Put as much or as little time in as you and your child want to. :)
