Happy 100th Day AND Valentine's Day!

WOW! Today was packed!
We started our day with 100 Day Hats! The kiddos proudly paraded down the hall (with hats on) to the office where we sang "Happy 100th Day" to the office staff. I was able to also take pictures of the kiddos in their 100 Day gear (I'll put them in the memory books)! :) We then went to calendar and crossed off the 100th day on the chart and counted/bundled our 100 straws. We moved the bundle of 100 over to the hundreds column and talked about what that meant.

After recess, we prepared for our Valentine activities.
The first one was graphing candy hearts. This was followed by Valentine bingo. The students loved that when we played the "blackout" round, everyone won! :)

The students were absolutely precious as they passed out their cards. I heard a million giggles and kind words...and also saw a lot of hugs! Talk about filling each other's tanks!

Both classes were able to watch a tiny bit of Clifford's Valentine, too.

Important Information:
1. Conferences start tomorrow. First through fifth grades have a half day; however, our schedule does not change.

2. No school this Thursday or Friday (2/16 & 2/17) due to conferences.

3. No school 2/20 - President's Day!

4. Homework folders are due tomorrow (obviously, they will only have two sentences done and that's fine)! :)
