We had a fantastic day!
We started our day with the introduction of letter Tt. We read Alpha Tales Tilly Turtle Comes to Tea and did our letter Tt picture guess. After our Tt work, our school counselor, Mrs. Wolfe came in to teach us all about personal space. After our social skills lesson, we read our message, did calendar, and worked on our Daily News. We also focused on rectangles in math today. We identified different rectangles and crossed off shapes that were not rectangles. After math, we went out to recess. Just a reminder, we will continue to go outside, even as the weather gets colder. Please make sure your child has a coat, hat, and gloves.
Lastly, we read the book A Bad Case of Stripes by David Shannon. We made our very own Camilla Cream and they are hanging in the hall. If you can, stop by and see them. They are VERY cute! :) We will continue to use the book for an opinion writing assignment later this week, too.

2. Take Home Books were exchanged today (11-14).
3. We have 12 am volunteers and 12 pm volunteers for our December 8th field trip. I would like a few more volunteers! If you can, please join us for the trip! The more help we have, the better! :) Please just email me, if you haven't yet, to let me know you can come! :)
4. Please practice letter identification, sounds, and sight words with your child! In addition, please also work on counting to 100 and number identification from 0-31.
