We had a great day!
Both classes started the day with a memory book activity. We then transitioned to reading groups, where the kiddos worked on adding/deleting sounds to make new words, the number eleven, handwriting, and listening (Howard B. Wigglesbottom Learns About Bullies). We were able to go outside for a glorious recess in the fresh air! After recess, the kinders did a fun domino number bond activity; focusing on completing the number bond, but also on writing the correct equation to go with it. We then transitioned to our calendar and Daily News routine. Once we were done, the kiddos listened for different rhyming words in the poem, I'm a Little Acorn Brown.
