As usual, our day was packed and we had a complete blast!
The kinders had music and P.E. with Mrs. Mulder. After specialist, we went upstairs to our 4th grade buddy class and made an adorable penguin project together. Our morning class went to library for book checkout and our afternoon class had their free choice time.
Important Information:
1. Homework folders will be coming home on Monday (2-8-16).
2. Take Home Books are due Monday (2-8-16).
3. Our Valentines party will be from 9:50-10:40am and from 2:05-2:55pm. The party will be on Friday, February 12th. Class lists went home at the beginning of the week in HW folders. Currently, we have one party mom for our morning class and three for our afternoon class. If you can join us, please let me know! It's nice to have more parents at the party because kiddos need help reading and passing out cards.
4. Students will need to make their own Valentines Day box for next Friday. Please send it to school on (or before) Friday the 12th. The students are free to create & decorate whatever they want including a cereal box, a large (8 1/2 by 11) envelope, etc.
5. The 100th Day of School is Friday, February 19th. We will have a little celebration as a class and some fun 100th Day activities. There isn't an official "party," it's normal school day with some extra fun thrown in. :)
6. Grandparents Day is March 18th from 8:15am-9:00am for both AM and PM classes!
7. Students need to fill their plastic 100 bag with 100 things and bring it back to school before 2/12. I've attached a couple pictures to give you some ideas. Please let me know if you need a new large "100" bag.
