Tuesday News

What a fabulous day!

We started with our morning work, focusing on sounding out words, sentence structure, and sight words. We then transitioned to morning message and our new sight words (where, your, and use). During calendar, we focused on month, day, year, as well as counting and graphing. After daily news, we were able to go outside for a sunny recess.

Reading groups were filled with assessments, sight word practice, handwriting, and listening center.

After groups, we worked hard on math (counting on from a number other than 1) and we started the 100 Challenge (writing all our numbers from 1-100).

Our afternoon was filled with lunch, recess, snack, quiet time, 4th grade buddies, song practice, and a little extra recess.
