Wednesday News

We had an outstanding day!

Our day started with morning work (focusing on ending sounds, sight words, and blending). We then transitioned to morning message, calendar, and Daily News.

We were able to go outside for recess today (HOORAY)! The kiddos loved playing on the swings, running in the field, and playing tag.

After recess, we went right into reading groups. During groups, we focused on letter ID, letters sounds, fine motor skills, handwriting, and listening.

During writing today, we took all the facts we'd learned from Show Me The Honey and transferred it to the Bee graphic organizer.
Tomorrow we will use our graphic organizer to write our first informational paper together.

Our afternoon was filled with lunch, recess, math, science, music, snack, show and share, and free choice centers.
