We had a great day!
As the school year comes to a close, we are finishing up assessments and kindergarten packets. We also did a special practice performance for our fourth grade buddies today. The students did a beautiful job singing and they are very excited to perform for you tomorrow!
Important Information:
1. Take Home Books are due tomorrow!
2. No reading groups tomorrow (5/25).
3. Our last day of reading groups will be 5/31. Thank you to all our amazing reading groups volunteers! I could not do this program without you!
4. Our Kindergarten Spring Concert is this Thursday (5/25) from 6:30-7ish. Please have your child in our classroom (room 102) at 6:15pm. If you arrive earlier, please keep them with you until 6:15pm. Lastly, there isn't anything specific they need to wear...just spring colors.
5. We will be visiting the first grade classes on June 1st. During this time, students get to ask questions, watch some routines, and meet the teachers.
6. We will be practicing having lunch at school. The menu for June 6th is spaghetti, garlic toast, fruit, & veggie. The cost of lunch is $2.50 (if your child just wants milk, it is .65 cents). I need to give the kitchen our final lunch count by June 1st. Please let me know if your child will be having hot or cold lunch as soon as possible!
7. Our last day of school is June 13th. I will be sending home info about our last day "snack-nic" soon; however, please plan on joining us for our victory tunnel and ticket to first grade celebration (AM: about 11:00 and PM: about 2:30).
