We are in the final countdown to summer and have a lot of things we're finishing up/planning. Below are a few events that are coming up. Please let me know if you have any questions!
Important Information:
1. Homework folders will be coming home on Monday.
2. Take Home Books are due on Monday.
3. Our Kindergarten Spring Concert is next Thursday, May 25th at 6:30pm. Please bring your child to their classroom at 6:15pm (if you're early, please keep your child with you until 6:15pm).
4. We will be doing our first grade visit on June 1st. This is a time where we visit each of the first grade classes, ask the teachers (and students) questions about first grade, and learn a few routines. Please note, due to the walk through, reading groups are canceled on June 1st.
5. We will also be sending home information about our practice lunch on June 6th. On this day, your kinder will eat lunch at school (AM: 11:00 and PM: 12:50). You can either pack your child a lunch or your child can order hot lunch. I will send home the menu for that day, as well as lunch/milk prices.
6. Our last day of school is different from first through fifth grades. Our last day of school is June 13th, while first through fifth have their last day on June 14th. On our last day of school, we will have a "snack-nic." I'll send home more information about it soon! Just FYI: we do a very special victory tunnel and ticket to first grade ceremony on the last day of school, so please plan on joining us!
