Today was packed with fun!
Both classes enjoyed their P.E. and music time with Mrs. Mulder. When the students returned to class, they worked very hard on their narrative writing. Today, we reviewed that there are three parts to a story: beginning, middle, and end. In addition, we wrote our middle sentence and talked about the word "plot." The AM kinders had library checkout and the PM kinders had their free choice time. Both classes earned an extra recess, too! :)
I'm sending all of our kinder moms a lot of love and wishing you all a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
Important Information:
1. Homework folders will come home on Monday.
2. Take home books will be exchanged on Monday.
3. Our first grade walk through will be 5/10 at 9:30am and 2:00pm. The kinders will meet the first grade teachers and have a chance to ask the current first graders some questions.
4. No School on Monday, 5/30 (Memorial Day).
5. Science Fest will be held at Prairie View on 6/2 starting at 6pm.
6. End of Kindergarten Spring Concert will be 6/13 at 6:30pm. Please invite grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. to join us for this special night. Students need to arrive at 6:15pm and the show starts at 6:30pm.
