The kinders had a wonderful day!
We started our time together with a vision and hearing screening. The school nurse came in and taught us what to do and then we went down to the library for the screening. We then did our reading group where kiddos worked on the /a/ and /m/ sounds, sight words, reading, and listening. The kinders then made it outside for a glorious recess in the sun. After recess, we read No, David and then we actually made our own David. Finally, we ended our time together with a writing mini lesson about opinions. The kinders then wrote their opinion about the book we read yesterday (Peter's Chair).
