The kiddos started their day by turning in their homework folders. Once everything was checked in, the kinders got ready for music and P.E. They love their time with Mrs. Mulder! After specialist, our art parents came in and taught us a VERY fun lesson, all based on an adorable monster book - Go Away, Big Green Monster. The kinders were wonderful listeners and followed directions beautifully! After the art project, the book was actually donated to our class. What a gift! To say the kinders were excited would be an understatement! Finally, we ended our day with calendar, where we focused on days of the week, months of the year, and place value.
Our morning class also got to go to library. Our pm class will go on Monday.

Important Information:
1. Cookie Dough Fundraiser packets are due Monday. Please make sure you've collected all the money and that the envelope is sealed.
2. Homework folders will come home on
Monday (10/5). Please have your child work on their homework each night
(Monday-Thursday) and keep it in their homework folder. If your child did not turn in their homework today, please have them turn it in on Monday.
3. Take Home Books are due Monday (10/5). Remember, if your child needs a new book or level, please put a note inside their plastic envelope/bag.
Take Home Book Exchange Run Down:
*If your child needs more practice with their book, return the book in
the envelope/plastic bag so I can check off that you have that book.
* If the book was at an appropriate level of difficulty, but you are done with this book write on a sticky note: New Book
*If your child could read this book in the first sitting and they know all the words, write on a sticky note: New Level.
**If a book doesn't have a sticky note, it doesn't get exchanged, just checked off.**

4. If you have not yet put the yellow transportation tag on your child's backpack, please do that tonight. It so helpful and important that we know how your child will be getting home.

If you haven't turned in all your school forms, please do so asap!
Remember, the office actually needs you to fill out the WSP form in the
office. They will also need a copy of your license when you turn in the
form. This must be filled out before you can volunteer in the classroom. If you have questions, please let me know!
